Richard and Linda Thompson: Queen Elizabeth Hall, London

IT WAS a night steeped in nostalgia. One of those occasions when the event was more important and ultimately more memorable than the music. Lots of Thompson's old chums turned up at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, London, on Friday to pay their regards and for the only time on the tour Richard and Linda were accompanied on stage by ex-Fairport comrades Dave Pegg and Dave Mattacks plus John Kirkpatrick on accordion and concertina.
