THIS GUY really is the archetypal singer-songwriter. I write that with no malice, because he gives a lot of people a lot of pleasure. But he restricted himself here by playing completely unassisted. Just one man and his piano, and he set himself an almighty task of constantly holding the audience's attention. One's concentration is bound to wander occasionally when the format is song — applause — "This next song... " — applause — ad infinitum.
