Poet-Minstrel Donovan Plays At Hollywood Bowl

EVERY YEAR at this time Donovan Leitch seats himself beatifically on the stage of the Hollywood Bowl, plays the gentle poet/minstrel from another time and place, casually runs through some three dozen songs in his oh-so-sensitive vibrato, and having dispensed with such frills as sideman or supporting acts, makes himself an outrageous amount of money. This year was no exception as he once again filled the Bowl to overflowing Friday night.
