Peabo Bryson: Crosswinds (Capitol ST-11875)

Paul Sexton, Record Mirror, 3 March 1979

THE NAME doesn't mean much to you, does it? Peabo Bryson's been in this game for quite a while and he's been digging his way out of the soul music underground in America for about three years. Now he's reached the surface and he's beginning to go in a positive direction. Crosswinds, out a while in the States, is scaling the pop album chart and 'I'm So Into You' is only two singles from the top of the soul chart, possibly less by the time this despatch reaches you.
