Paul McCartney: 'If You'll Shut Up About It I Will'

ON THE evening of Monday June 19, thirty six hours after the British press had reported and examined Paul McCartney's statement regarding LSD (originally contained in a lengthy interview given by the Beatle to Thomas Thompson for Life magazine), Independent Television News sent a reporter to Paul's home to film a follow-up interview on the subject. This was broadcast throughout the UK via the commercial TV network at nine o'clock the same evening.
