New Order: Usher Hall, Edinburgh, May 6, 2012

Graeme Thomson, Uncut, July 2012

"WHERE'S HOOKY?" It takes only two songs for the Edinburgh crowd to raise the spectre of the missing bassist. New Order might have expanded to a five-piece but they are, crucially, still a man down. With Peter Hook revisiting various chapters of Joy Division's story with his new band, The Light, Tom Chapman has been drafted in to fill the void, with long-term auxiliary member Phil Cunningham adding further ballast on guitar and keyboards.
