FOR ONE reason or another, most people tend to throw Neil Diamond into the "serious, loner, angry young man" bag. Which is something like terming President Johnson an introvert. Neil is, admittedly, serious about a lot of things — his music and writing in particular — and he is something of a loner — he moves without the aid of five publicists, three managers, two road managers and a photographer — but an angry young man?
