Mike Cooper and the bottleneck revival

Jerry Gilbert, Melody Maker, 14 February 1970

MIKE COOPER, who has, in recent years, revived interest in the bottleneck and knifestyle of playing, uses two 1930s National steel guitars, as well as a Gibson SJN and a Gibson Darco Black Label specially imported by Ivor Mairants. In addition to this, Mike possesses a Stella twelve-string and Swiss 18th century court guitar.
