IN ITS CONTINUING BID to corner every must-see gig in town, the refurbished Roundhouse has incorporated the Freedom Studio, a 180-capacity "multi-form" room, buried in the lower depths of the building. There was nowhere to sit, of course, despite the fact that Mary Gauthier, the country-folk singer from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is a performer who attracts a mixed age group and whose music demands quiet attention.
