Mariposa Folk Festival To Be One of the Best

TORONTO IS going to have a music festival. It will be properly run, have good talent and a place to operate. It's the same one that's been there for 10 years. The name is the Mariposa Folk Festival, to be held on the Toronto Islands July 24, 25 and 26. The lineup this year includes Rambling Jack Elliot, Merle Travis, Doug Kershaw and James Taylor. The music forms to be covered range from traditional folk to New Orleans jazz to Indian and Eskimo music and crafts.
