NO SINGLE generation has a monopoly on decadence. Still, Marianne Faithfull's Swinging London and Kurt Weill's Weimar Berlin have a better claim than most. Even in this elegant Austrian theatre, hearing the '60s grande dame declaiming visions of lust and sloth while suspect characters gambol around to a backing of lascivious strings and cheeky flutes is a heady experience.
