Lydia Lunch & 13.13: O.N. Klub, Los Angeles CA

Byron Coley, New York Rocker, September 1981

THE O.N. KLUB, at the very far end of the entertainment turf strung along Sunset Boulevard, has the feel of a biker's bar gone cool — sorta like C.B.G.B. before Voice-Choicedom. I've been informed that the Klub used to be a ska place, but the only remaining sign of Two-Tone mania's a Madness poster hung behind the bar. The general who-gives-a-fuck layout makes the Klub an ideal venue for the world premier performance of Lydia Lunch's new combo, 13.13.
