Lone Justice: Country Not For Clods

THERE'S A scene in The Last Picture Show in which Ben Johnson confronts a crowd of kids who, as a prank, have set up a prostitute with the town's "dummy." The aging Johnson is plenty pissed at this sleazy stunt and gives the group a lecture along the lines of "I've been around that type of trashy behavior all my life, and I'm sick of it." That' s sort of how I feel about country music.
