Little Feat: Philosophy of the Feat

Rob Partridge, Melody Maker, 3 May 1975

"LITTLE FEAT are flukes," says Lowell George, "and the flukes just can't be stopped. In the end they balance out the monstrosities of 'formula' music." We're talking about a rock 'n' roll world in which a band like Little Feat can be virtually ignored for four years while the charts become increasingly full of pop. Indeed, according to George, it's taken that long for the band just to break even on the production costs from their four albums.
