The revival of the boy-girl duet, more or less a forgotten strand of classic country, has been a feature of recent years. There have been high- profile liaisons (Plant and Krauss; Campbell and Lanegan) alongside more cultish concerns (The Bird And The Bee) and the somewhat oddball pairing of M Ward and Zooey Deschanel, aka She & Him. The addition of Lambchop leader Kurt Wagner and fellow Nashville crooner Cortney Tidwell, however, makes more direct sense.
