THREE DAYS before I meet Kacey Musgraves, the American country singer appears at the Royal Variety Performance in London, sharing a bill with One Direction, Kylie Minogue, ELO and Elton John. After the show, while lining up backstage for the traditional royal introductions, Musgraves decided to high-five Prince Harry in lieu of a curtsy. "No one really briefed me on the rule of touching royals," she says, "so I just kinda went for it."
