THERE MAY BE something extremely valid in a composer performing his own highly successful material in concert, and though Jimmy Webb accomplished this to a certain degree when, in the company of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, he presented his music at the Albert Hall on Saturday, there were times when his limited vocal range ran into difficulty when fully stretched over the wide range that his songs encompass.
