WHILE EACH new generation of upstarts spout the notion that rock is just for kids, it's easy to find aging veterans who hang in there year after year without looking (too) foolish. Lauding the longevity of Mick Jagger or Ray Davies seems premature when you consider the staying power of Jerry Lee Lewis, arguably the most durable of the original rock 'n' rollers. In a recent performance at the Ritz in Manhattan, the Killer displayed few signs of middle age or gave any indication he'd done the same show a thousand times before.
