Jacques: How To Make Love

Chris Roberts, Uncut, June 1997

ANTHONY Reynolds, a Welshman, singer in Jack, has teamed up with Nick Currie, a Scotsman, also known as Momus, to make an album, in 10 days, in London. The river-crying Jack are one of only a handful of groups I could be arsed to cross the road to see. They smell of cinnamon and burning art galleries. Momus is/are Greece or Russia to me; never been there, though everyone says it's worth it.
