It's only graffiti — but I like it

DRAWING conclusions on the wall, New York graffitists have captured a spirit of rock and roll. But it got called Art somewhere along the line.

It's a shame that the original cover planned for Beggars Banquet with its heavily defaced toilet wall didn't reach the proletariat. It would have brought two disparate elements together for the celebration of a generation.
