BACK IN THE late 70s, Detroit DJ the Electrifyin' Mojo would climax his nightly progressive funk'n'rock show with an on-air ceremony he called "Landing the Mothership." The soundtrack to this midnight ritual wasn't, as you might expect, Parliament Funkadelic, but often Kraftwerk's 'Trans-Europe Express'.
