ANDREW OLDHAM, aged 21, and Tony Calder, 24, yesterday formed a record company and with it released three pop singles that will compete with pop singles released by EMI, Decca, Pye and Phillips. The big record companies don't mind small companies releasing a few records to appeal to minority groups, such as East Dulwich Hillbillies or expectant mothers; what they absolutely HATE is small companies releasing pop singles.
