IN THE WAKE of the Rodney King verdict and the Los Angeles riots, Ice Cube can take grim satisfaction in seeing his harrowing rhymes validated by the headlines. Not surprisingly, The Predator finds him replaying the horrors of the last year, vowing to even the score. However, Cube no longer seems larger than life. For the time being, anyway, his righteous fury has lost the power to shock, because nothing could be more disturbing than what we've all witnessed already.
