THE FIRST time I met Ian Dury – nearly two years ago in Dingwalls when I was little more than just another wide-eyed and a bit wet behind the ears fan of his personal brand of performance art – he was extremely rude. "Hello Ian. Always liked your stuff". "Fuck off". That sort of thing, only more extreme and less pleasant.
