Hot Chip: A Bath Full Of Ecstasy

ALMOST A decade ago it wouldn't have been a stretch to call Hot Chip Britain's best pop band. They produced wonderful, warm-hearted electro floor-fillers with a bittersweet tinge, while their live shows had a devotional quality to them, as if Giorgio Moroder had been commissioned to compose gospel music for the liberal wing of the Church of England.
