THERE IS something about Helen Reddy which just gets up my nose. I didn't know that, mind you, before I went to the first of her three nights at the London Palladium last week. 'Angie Baby' seemed to me an interesting, if morally confused, commentary upon the pitfalls of today's music world, and I had thought that a live performance might illuminate a deeper perspective; but no.
