IT IS A FINE irony of her long career as the Queen of Country Rock that, on the night when Gram Parsons stopped by to hear her regular Monday night set in a Georgetown bar called Clyde's, Emmylou Harris barely knew who the former Byrd and Flying Burrito Brother was. Indeed she looked down on country music, in her own words, "like a snob".
