PSST! WANNA beat inflation? Here's how. Go up to the attic, and dust off those scratchy rock'n'roll singles you so heartlessly discarded in the late 1950s. They could be worth money. In the dark days of the '60s, when rock bands began to spread their inspirations over four, six or even eight sides of long-playing vinyl, keepers of the rock'n'roll faith had to scour the charity shops for the cherished recordings of their youth: pre-army Elvis, Bill Haley, Little Richard and Fats Domino.
