IT IS UNFORTUNATE that while Ewan MacColl has continued to develop as a singer, many of the available recordings were made long before he had found a satisfactory way of performing. This is remedied by a new Topic MANCHESTER ANGEL (12T147), which is the closest thing I have ever heard to his current performing style.
