IT'S ABOUT half past eight, the lights go down, the curtains go up, and we can all see a dimly lit stage, with the drums on a raised rostrum centre and back, flanked by amps. At the front, the inevitable microphones, and at the sides of the stage, two comfortable-looking settees.
