El DeBarge: Storm Warning

FLASHBACK: it's 1989 and El DeBarge is sitting in a conference room at Motown Records discussing his then new album, Gemini (his first in three years), and although the word was out that he'd already signed a new deal with Warner Brothers, he was interested in seeing the Motown LP make some headway. While it was hardly a blockbuster by anyone's standards, the album did contain some strong material (like the haunting 'Broken Dreams' and the poignant 'Turn The Page') and was perhaps a strong indicator of what we could expect from El's Warner debut...
