Eastie Boys: Real Life in London's East End

IT IS A HOT day in London’s East End. I’m sitting in my home of Stepney, sipping an ice-cool lager outside the infamous Blind Beggar Pub in the Mile End Road. This is the drinking house where Ronnie Kray emptied a gun into a fellow villain and then joked he wanted a "luger and lime". Today it seems very tame.
