Digital Underground: Sons Of The P (Big Life/All formats)

Dele Fadele, New Musical Express, 12 October 1991

YOU'RE TUNED in to the mutant descendants of P-Funk. Digital Underground are updating George Clinton's '70s blueprint to reflect much more worrying times. The larger than life cartoon characters of 'Sex Packets' have decided to temper their brand of escapism with some gritty realism and Sons Of The P is a broadcast from a radio station that won't be silenced; sometimes amoral, sometimes offensive, but quite gripping nonetheless.
