Cypress Hill, Lemonheads, Verve, Hole et al: Reading Festival

Cathi Unsworth, Melody Maker, 3 September 1994

READING.It's like acid; once you've tried it you swear you'll never be back for more, and yet you always are. Perhaps it's because this festival has never tried to be worthy — the save the planet vibes have always been spared. This is fast-food entertainment for a field full of kids determined to get pissed and have as much fun as soon as possible.
