THE INSTANTLY recognisable voice and music of Curtis Mayfield has successfully carried him once more to the top of the American charts with this somewhat predictable but creative album. I say predictable because if you know Curtis' music, you seem to know what's coming next but I add creative because there are some incredibly brilliant musical effects. For example, the guitar sounds on 'Keep On Trippin'' along with the selection of various keyboard sounds used all adds up to a highly unusual effect.
