Crosby Stills Nash & Young: Are We in Tune? No

Geoffrey Cannon, The Guardian, 10 January 1970

Author's note, 2018: The review below was cut by the Guardian. What's here is uncut.

Who plays Crosby Stills Nash (and Young) albums now or, for that matter, albums by David Crosby, Steven Stills or Graham Nash? I don't mean that I now think little of this awesome amount of work. All four of these musicians, Steve Stills and Neil Young especially, are vastly talented. Rather, I just don't think or feel about it. None of it resonates for me. Buffalo Springfield, yes. The Byrds, yes. I still play these albums, and early Neil Young albums too.
