Creedence Clearwater Revival, Savage Grace: Olympia Stadium, Detroit MI

A RATHER eventful weekend just passed as Jeff Berk's group played their last performance together Saturday night at the Grande. It's reported Beck and the boys will split up. Also on Saturday night the Creedence Clearwater Revival got together with Savage Grace at Olympia to construct one of the best concerts I've ever seen. The James Gang opened the show and were very good; The Box Tops were completely useless; then, Savage Grace. The group was nothing short of fantastic and the crowd knew it.
