Chemical Brothers: Surrender

Dave Simpson, The Guardian, 18 June 1999

THIS ALBUM SOUNDS like the Chemical Brothers threw one hell of a party. Banging on the door with 'Let Forever Be', in his first dalliance with Chemicals since 1996's number one 'Setting Son', there's Noel Gallagher, his arms full of four-packs and a head full of tunes. On poignant vocals is New Order's Bernard Sumner, backed up by none other than Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie.
