Chaka Khan: The Woman I Am (Warner Bros 7599-26296-2)

Jeff Lorez, Blues & Soul, 21 April 1992

IF I HAD any say in what Chaka Khan recorded I'd go in the studio with her and a bunch of top musicians and play 'Once You Get Started', 'Tell Me Somethin' Good', 'Circles', 'Sweet Thing', 'Stop On By', 'Blue Love', 'Stay', 'Any Old Sunday', 'I'm Every Woman', 'Some Love' and 'Eye To Eye' (there really isn't any need to mention 'Ain't Nobody') and say, "Listen chaps, it really doesn't get any better than that. Throw out the computers and just go for what you know".
