THE VERY LEAST YOU CAN SAY ABOUT CARLOS Santana is that he has always been a pleasant plucker. Surely no-one has ever coaxed as much emotion from a single note. Few fingers can have danced along a fretboard with such rhythmic exuberance. All those soaring runs: spine tingling a house speciality.
