Carl Douglas: Kung Fu Fighting (20th Century T-464)

I WAS GAILY dancing the kung fu (even though I don't, as the song informs us one is supposed to, possess the grace of a butterfly) to get myself in the appropriate frame of mind for composing the sixth and penultimate draft of this review, when all of a sudden an old friend called me on the telephone. On being apprised that "that noise" she heard in the background was in fact the Carl Douglas album, she sneered audibly and asked, "Is it all as heinous as that hit single he had?"
