IF YOU WANT TO ANNOY CARAVAN PALACE, call them electro-swing. When the French band launched in the late Noughties, they were leaders of a scene that mixed jazz and swing with modern beats. Aptly, their break in Britain came when Sophie Ellis-Bextor performed a Charleston to one of their songs on Strictly Come Dancing.
