Can: Rainbow Theatre, London

Martin Hayman, Sounds, 24 February 1973

CAN IS not a band which lends itself easily to review. At the Rainbow on Sunday night they drew a nearly capacity audience, which in itself surprised me — their name must have got about already, and it looks as though this might be the tour which at last sees them come good over here, and not before time. But their spare, clipped and constantly changing music does not lend itself to assessment in conventional terms.
