FOR THE last couple of weeks, London theatres have been filled (or should have been) with British pop musicians taking tips from their American masters. Bobby Womack, who played a brief season at the Hammersmith Odeon, is the last great star of the Sixties soul movement which determined what male feelings should sound like.
