HOW MANY memories can one man have? My own mind often feels like an overworked runway at LAX, with a million details buzz-bombing the brain, all threatening to land at once. And when it comes to Christmas, well, a sort of nightmare nostalgia threatens to turn the thought of holidays past into some lost search for salvation. But there's one night that will always have a shining glow enshrouding it. It was the Christmas Eve I fell in love with the blues.
