FROM THE first moment of the show, when Radio City Music Hall's gigantic Wurlitzer vibrated to the '2001 Theme', one could guess that Barry White's concert would be far from unpretentious little affair. Indeed, the working-class folk done up in Sunday best rattled their mood rings as the organ slid into those disco standbys, 'The Hustle' and 'Brazil'. Next, an orchestra rose miraculously from the pit sweetly montaging the Maestro's hits into an overture.
