Anti-Nowhere League: Mama Kin, Boston

Jim Sullivan, The Boston Globe, 26 September 1995

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, for your listening and slam-dancing pleasure: Anti-Nowhere League, a scurrilous pack of London-based louts who began Sunday's show at Mama Kin with their theme "We Are the League" – "We are the League and we are mad/We are the League and our music's bad" – and hit a mid-set peak with their early single, 'I Hate People', featuring one of the best punk-rock intersong rejoinders in "I hate people/And they hate me!" Turnabout, fair play and all that.
