ERIC CLAPTON STARTED work on his solo album (Atco) while in Los Angeles with Delaney and Bonnie. He came back to England with the unfinished unmixed tapes and went to work with Bill Halverson, the well-known engineer who recently split Wally Heider's scene and went solo himself.
