HOW DO YOU write a blues song? Elvin Bishop, a founding member of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band before launching a successful solo career, is the guy to ask. His journey started under the wing of Little Smokey Smothers in the early '60s, and in 1975 he had a mainstream hit with 'Fooled Around and Fell In Love', which is still entrenched on playlists.
