Alice Cooper, Flo & Eddie: With Alice in Glasgow
Ed Jones, Cracker, November 1972
GREEN'S PLAYHOUSE is like a vast seedy Roman amphitheatre, a black roaring cauldron of sweat, smoke and screams. The Glasgow audience is tough, gritty and demanding, and makes the wildest Edinburgh concert seem like a vicarage tea party. At any given moment during the Alice Cooper show, at least half were stomping in the aisles, dancing on the seats, or standing bellowing approval, arms flung towards the stage in salute.
